My Story

Havercroft Handcrafted was founded on a deep respect for timeless craftsmanship and a clear vision for the future of eyewear.

I began my career in 2010 at the legendary Algha Works in London, home of the Savile Row brand. Under the guidance of master craftsman Lawrence Jenkins, and with the direction of Peter Viner, manager of Algha Works, I spent seven years mastering traditional frame making techniques, shaping eyewear for clients who expected nothing less than excellence.

When Algha Works closed in 2017, I continued my journey at Cubitts, where I led and helped build their workshop at King’s Cross. After five years, I chose to step away to spend more time with family and return to what I love most: making extraordinary frames by hand.

In 2022, I established Havercroft Handcrafted a workshop built to unite centuries old tradition with modern innovation. Alongside time honoured tools and techniques, I have integrated advanced machinery and software into the process, enabling precision fit, exceptional consistency, and beautifully finished frames.

The journey has never been mine alone. I have been fortunate to work alongside Mila, a skilled master craftsman, and Luis, a lens specialist and frame maker founders of Eyewear Limited. I am equally grateful for the continued support of C. W. Dixey & Son, as well as the encouragement and expertise of Small Batch Tools. Their guidance and collaboration remain an essential part of Havercroft Handcrafted today.

From the very first collection, Havercroft Handcrafted has stood for more than eyewear it is the continuation of a craft, reimagined for today.
